As if we couldn’t hope for more, there’s a new offering in the on-demand services trend, and it’s the ultimate indulgence. Soothe is a new app that brings a massage therapist to your home! All you have to do is go online or download the app, choose the type of massage you want and when you want it and the massage will come to you.
I recently tried out the service, and after seeing how easy it was, I wish I could book every week. It was so nice to not deal with parking, to not have to change back into work clothes and to not have to go any farther than from my bedroom to the living room after the treatment. My therapist Steffi was as professional and skilled as they come (if you live in Chicago, request her). I was so relaxed that I wasn’t even phased when my 4 year old and 2 year old zipped in and out of the room or when my dog jumped up to the massage table to kiss my face.
