Reigning supreme this season, monochromatic dressing hit all the right hues for this spring and summer. From sleek cobalt blue at Gucci, to an orange punch of color at Carolina Herrera, these tone on tone ensembles may seem intimidating to pull off, but by keeping a few tips in mind, achieving this look is a piece of cake.

  • If you’re a little nervous about trying this bold statement, wear a lighter shade of the hue either on top or bottom – to create more of a muted palette
  • Mix textures – try a chambray top with a blue silk chiffon skirt, or maroon skinny corduroys with a wool crewneck sweater
  • Keep accessories simple and in neutral colors – gold, black, silver, white, nude

Still feeling a little unsure? Forever and always in love with fuschia and white, here are two outfits I put together to inspire your own monochromatic creative juices!
