My Reality TV Show Debut! My Episode on The Style Network’s Chicagolicious

I had so much fun appearing on The Style network’s Chicagolicious last night. I watch a lot of reality TV, so getting to be in an episode and seeing what really goes on behind-the-scenes was a treat. I have to say, there are a ton of cameras. Surprisingly, they’re not in your face. Sure, you know they’re there (always behind you), but they’re easy to forget about at the same time. Another interesting fact: You’ll never hear the word “action” called by the director like you do on movie sets. Instead the director lets you know when the cameras are rolling. Apparently this detail is meant to seem like they’re simply capturing the situation that’s happening at that moment rather than filming a scene for a TV show. TV Segment: Back To School Fashions featured on “Great Day St. Louis”

I’m back in Chicago after a whirlwind work trip (3 cities in 3 days)! Here’s the TV segment I did this morning in St. Louis. And I had an hour to kill before my flight so I put on my tourist hat and went to the top of the arch. The structure really is breathtaking as is the view from the top. I have the photos to prove it. My TODAY Show Debut! Are These Products Too Good To Be True?

I had so much fun being in studio 1A for my first TODAY show appearance. Here’s my segment. And scroll down to see my personal behind-the-scenes photos.

I dropped by the studio (which is surprisingly small!) the night before to deliver my props.

Getting all the beauty products in order, thanks to the wonderful prop stylist.

I had so much fun dancing on the plaza while Flo Rida performed. Definitely knocked out any jitters.

Moments before the live tease that shows viewers my segment is coming up next.

60 seconds until I go live! I always thought there would be tons of people in the studio. Actually, it was very low key. Just me, Tamron and a couple of camera guys. Amazing how quickly 4 minutes and 30 seconds goes by when you're having fun.
