One thing I always keep in my bathroom is zit medicine. I want to be armed and ready whenever one appears. Some of my faves: Mario Badescu and Clearasil.

Then there are the days when I need/want extra enforcement. That’s when I bring in the TANDA Zap ($49). It’s like the pimple police. The handheld device uses a blue light technology to zap zits. The blue lights kills bacteria, the sonic vibration calms inflammation and the tip warms up to help open pores.

I (and my hubby) have used this in lieu of and in conjunction with zit cream and we’ve seen results both ways. However, you do have to use the device 2-3 times per day. It takes about 2 minutes per treatment, and I like that it doesn’t cause flaky skin or redness, both of which can happen if you pile on too much medicine.
