Quality headphones are one of those items that are great to have but you don’t always buy for yourself. When I was given the opportunity to check out the SOL Republic headphones (shown left), I felt like the holidays came early.
They’re made for Apple products (iphone, ipad, etc.) and have a built-in mic so you can answer calls in between listening to music. Another nice feature is that the headband is durable and interchangeable. If you’re into styling your headphones with your outfit, you could create a headphone wardrobe if you want. The best part is the sound quality. Outside noise is erased and the tunes are clear as can be. We (meaning my husband and I) have been testing out the new Anthem Tracks HD On-Ear Headphones ($149.99), which were inspired by Michael Phelps. Isn’t the design cool! They’re also very comfortable. I like this style for traveling on the plane. For riding the subway or walking down the street, the Amps HD In-Ear Headphones ($99.99, pictured below) are the way to go. They’re slim with superb sound quality and they guarantee ear-tips replacement for life, which is huge!
