Using real women as his models, he fills the pages with his most famous makeup looks throughout his career.To celebrate the launch, last night Jennifer and Co. (Marc Anthony), Kelly Rowland, big-name hairstylist Oribe and others came out to Provocateur at NYC’s Hotel Gansevoort. For the last few years, I have used Laura Mercier hydrating primer in the winter, her tinted moisturing foundation, bronzer or blush, and her fabulous illuminating foundation on my cheekbones as a highlighter. I use Lancome creme lipsticks. For my eyes, I wear Cover Girl Outblast Mascare. I very rarely wear eyeshadow.
On busy, hit-the-snooze-too-many-times mornings, which seem to be most of them, I love Benefit’s Some Kind of Gorgeous and some good old Geat Lash, with whatever lip gloss I have in my purse, which I think right now is a mauve-y rose from the Body Shop.
On a normal work day I will use a light layer of shu uemura liquid foundation to even out a my skin a bit. On my eyes i keep it simple with bobbi brown gel liner and Max factor lash perfection. I always wear sunscreen and i have a number of lip balms and colors with spf. My go to balm is MAC lip conditioner in fushia fix for a sheer pop of color. For convenience during the day I carry Balm shelter spf17 tinted gloss in Dream GIrl. Its a light milky mauve for a barely there look.
Mascara and blush does wonders!! And don’t forget a light reddish lipgloss. Wakes up everything!!
I definitely keep it simple. Some lip gloss and a bit of blush.
My go to makeup look is bright eyes and cheeks. A sweep of mascara and a little mineral blush always does the trick! For special occassions it’s all about playful eyes with me!
