Do you fantasize about what a rapper smells like? Just imagine inhaling the essence of beefy muscles, low-slung jeans, Timberlands and a diamond grill. Sound hot? I didn’t think so. When I heard that rappers 50 Cent and Nelly were both coming out with fragrances, I have to admit, I was expecting ew de toilettes. I’m happy to report that I got served.Power by Fifty Cent is gritty in a roll up your sleeves and get to work sort of way. The masculine blend starts out strong and musky and finishes with fresh green, fruity and citrus top notes.
Nelly, on the other hand, remains a lady’s man. Apple Bottoms, like his clothing company, is named for his appreciation of round derrieres and is made for his kind of woman: “confident, strong, sexy and on trend.” The juice is sweet and sultry with hints of pink peony, rose and apple blossoms.Power by Fifty Cent will be available Nov. 5th at Macy’s.
