Welcome to my “trophy” room. I wouldn’t describe myself as a bragger, but there’s a time and place when modesty should be shoved in the corner, and this is one of them. After all, I want you to be impressed by my hard work. Here you’ll find the shout-outs and accolades The Beauty Girl has earned, the stories I write for other magazines and websites (my life revolves around deadlines!), my latest TV appearances, the events, parties and partnerships I’ve created, along with pretty much anything else I’ve done that toots my own horn.
I dropped by the studio (which is surprisingly small!) the night before to deliver my props.
Getting all the beauty products in order, thanks to the wonderful prop stylist.
I had so much fun dancing on the plaza while Flo Rida performed. Definitely knocked out any jitters.
Moments before the live tease that shows viewers my segment is coming up next.
60 seconds until I go live! I always thought there would be tons of people in the studio. Actually, it was very low key. Just me, Tamron and a couple of camera guys. Amazing how quickly 4 minutes and 30 seconds goes by when you're having fun.
Did you like the segment? Is there a beauty or style segment you’d like to see on TV? I wanna know…it could end up being the topic of my next segment.
I had so much fun this morning at Windy City Live talking spring beauty trends and how to get them with products for all under $10. Check it out!
P.S. Here are some behind-the-scenes shots as WCL’s co-host Val and I get ready to go live.

Have you heard of beso.com? It’s a site devoted to shopping (need I say more). To help the hunt, they pick the brains of industry peeps like myself to see what’s on our lists, which may just inspire yours. So, when I was asked about the beauty products I’m all about right now, of course I had to tell. Read More
Bath & Body Works is throwing the mother of all events, and it’s not just because I’m a part of it.
Come to Oakbrook Mall Feb. 11th for the store’s Valentine’s Day party and you could win a trip for 2 to Hawaii or a bedroom makeover!
I’ll be sharing my beauty secrets from 12-2, and the first 50 peeps who arrive and mention me, The Beauty Girl, will score an awesome product.
The event, which goes from 10-4, will have lots of other fun stuff like a braid boutique where stylists will do your hair for FREE.
P.S. Wear pink! Bath & Body Works is gifting anyone who shows up in pink their new Pink Chiffon fragrance.
Hope to see you there!
You don’t need to flaunt the fact that you were in a tropical destination during winter break by coming back with an obnoxious, unhealthy tan (it will peel off anyway). Nor do you need to overcompensate for having not been away by loading on the bronzer (it will make your face look more dirty than anything). Read the story I wrote below for makeup.com and follow these self-tanning tips for a natural looking way to warm up your winter skin.
