I had so much fun appearing on The Style network’s Chicagolicious last night. I watch a lot of reality TV, so getting to be in an episode and seeing what really goes on behind-the-scenes was a treat. I have to say, there are a ton of cameras. Surprisingly, they’re not in your face. Sure, you know they’re there (always behind you), but they’re easy to forget about at the same time. Another interesting fact: You’ll never hear the word “action” called by the director like you do on movie sets. Instead the director lets you know when the cameras are rolling. Apparently this detail is meant to seem like they’re simply capturing the situation that’s happening at that moment rather than filming a scene for a TV show.
