Best Spring Beauty Buys for Moms Event
Last month we had our 4th annual Best Beauty Buys for Moms Event with Bump Club and Beyond, presented by Clarins, Phyto and Bath & Body Works. Moms and moms-to-be gathered at the Argent Restaurant for a night of beauty treatments (manicures, brow waxes, chair massages and micro-derm facials) powered by PrettyQuick, food, mocktails and cocktails, a presentation of my spring beauty must-haves, raffles prizes and gift bags galore. Everyone left with more than $200 worth of beauty products! To name a few: Cocktail Fragrance Bubble Bath, Jouer and Cargo lip glosses, Aveeno baby products, B. Giveaway: Clarins Double Serum
Having an 18 month old and another on the way (I’m due May 11th!), I feel like I’ve been pregnant for the past two years. That said, I’m very selective with what I put on my skin. Clarins is a brand that I feel confident using because they’re devoted to working with plant extracts to create effective formulas. One of my new favorites is their Double Serum. It just launched in February but is 27 years in the making. Researchers had 200 different plant extracts at their fingertips and chose the 20 most powerful that work together to hydrate, protect and strengthen the skin. Green banana, burdock, kiwi, arnica and quinoa are some that made the cut. One pump distributes enough product for the entire face, and I love how the serum absorbs right in. As a child, every Valentines Day, my mom would write me a little love letter that she’d tuck into my lunch box or backpack before school. Yes, I got plenty of Valentine’s and candy grams from my classmates, but I so looked forward to finding these cute notes reminding me that I was her Valentine that day and every day! Consider writing a love letter to your child on the 14th. Even if your son or daughter hasn’t quite reached the reading stage, that’s okay. Save these notes to share with your child when they’re a little older and can appreciate them. I’m a lot older now and still have mine!
