Design Idea: Wrapping Paper as Wall Art

Looking for some design inspiration? We’ve all been stuck with an empty white wall at one point or another–they beg for a “statement piece.” For me, it was my tiny college dorm room enclosed by white cinderblock walls (oh, the glamour!). Blik self-adhesive wall decals were the answer. Think: chandeliers, olive trees, sock monkeys. I was excited to discover that Blik upped the ante on their wall decals and teamed up with WRAPPED to create large-scale, self-adhesive wallpaper. A Quick Fix When You Look Exhausted

When I’m on little-to-no sleep, putting on makeup is the last thing I’m in the mood to do. We’ve all been there. But, there are a few products in my stash that I can easily swipe on without paying attention, and they really make me look like I’m in a better state that I actually am. One such savior is Bobbi Brown Brightening Finishing Powder. It’s a pink, white, and lilac mosaic that brightens a tired, sallow complexion. I dab on a little concealer under my eyes and at the sides of my nose, and then give my face a generous dusting of the glowy powder. It’s not glittery like Bobbi’s Shimmer Bricks, so you can really just brush it on wherever without the fear of looking too shiny. It’s a trusty little pick-me-up for sluggish days. posted by Cody
