The Body Shop Chocomania Body Scrub Review
When it comes to beauty products, chocolate is not a new ingredient, but the Body Shop’s Chocomania Body Scrub ($14.25) really stands out as a favorite amongst all the other cocoa-scented products on the market. This scrub is an exfoliant made to slough away dead skin and leave behind a thin protective layer of moisture. Read More Comment

Curel Hand & Cuticle Therapy Review
For some time now, we’ve been testing out several different hand creams and here is another effective and affordable option we have to share. I used Curel’s Hand & Cuticle Therapy ($4.49) for three weeks and was really impressed with how well this lotion improved the look and texture of my hands. Containing Vitamin E, Soy Milk, and Monoi Oil, this cream not helps heal your skin, but simultaneously strengthens your nails. With one application in the morning, even after washing my hands, my skin remained moisturized and non-greasy. I was completely sold after seeing the visible change in my previously weak nails, which were prone to breaking. After just five days, my nails stopped splitting and the tops of my hands were no longer dry and itchy. It’s too bad I didn’t get my hands on this earlier in the winter season (literally!), but I’m thankful I have this in my arsenal for next year.

Bath & Body Works Beautiful Day Collection Preview
I love when new spring beauty products land on my desk. Then I know it won’t be long before I can store my winter coat.
When Bath & Body Works new Beautiful Day collection arrived, it only added to my anticipation of warmer weather. I was sent the entire line (shower gel, fragrance mist, shimmer mist, eau de toilette, body lotion and body cream), and when I inhaled the scent, it made me happy. It’s as simple as that. The fragrance isn’t overly floral or romantic or woodsy or oriental. In fact, it’s refreshingly uncomplicated with a few notes that blend together to smell a little bit sweet, thanks to pink peonies and dandelions, and a little bit crisp, which you get from green apple. My number one from this launch may be the mist. It’s a lighter version of the perfume, and I’m picturing wearing it on an above 50-degree day. Hopefully that means it’ll be on my skin very soon.

Kiehl’s Partners with DonorsChoose.org
Kiehl’s gets kudos for being such a charitable company. Their latest project, which goes until April 15th, focuses on funding nationwide public school science education. Kiehl’s is donating up to $50,000 from the sales of their new Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate to DonorsChoose.org. What gives this initiative a twist is that Kiehl’s has included a special sleeve in a limited quantity of the product cartons (sort of like a “golden ticket”) that has a code printed on the inside. The code is worth $50. If you end up buying one of the cartons that has this $50 voucher code, you can go online here, input the code and donate $50 of Kiehl’s money to the classroom of your choice. It’s a win, win for all!
